LOGOS is a ministry of the church that nurtures children, youth and adults into a committed faith relationship with Jesus Christ. This evening program is designed for the whole family and includes dinner, games, crafts, worship and bible study. The winter session will begin Wednesdays, January 9-April 30, 2008 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church-Forest Lake. One parent from each family is expected to volunteer in some capacity to help implement the program.
Current Volunteer Needs as of Jan 30, 2008
- Assistants for 4-6 grade Bible Study Time 6:30-7:00 p.m.
- Supervisors for activity time 5:15-5:45 p.m.
- Event Planners to assist with end of year party (time is flexible)
Important dates coming up:
Feb 6
- Lent services begin – all grades go to Lent Service 7:00-7:30
- Pajama Night for all grades
- Popcorn & Movie Party for Grades 1-6
Feb 13 Valentine Night – everyone wear red or pink
Feb 20 Hat Night – prizes will be given
Feb 27 Golden Rule Night – wear gold
Important change for winter semester:
Dinner will now be offered as an option for families and participants in the LOGOS program. Participants and families interested in the dinner may arrive any time between 5:00-5:50 p.m. for one of Rick’s fabulous meals. The LOGOS program and activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. and finish up by 7:30 p.m. Details and registration forms are available at the Welcome desk or the links below. This change to optional dinner, does affect the fees for Logos, so please check the flyer for details, especially if you are not planning to eat.
