Internet and Technology Concerns

As a parent of three, my major concern is for their safety which includes technology. Kids we know are trusting souls, and with that we as parents need to be vigilant in their safety. Technology isn’t going away, so we must armor ourselves with proper tools. I will attempt to keep this page up to date on issues that we have encountered and the solutions. Google and Your Home Phone Number
|

Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter. You will be given the person’s name and address. If you click on Map you will get a map to the person’s house. This is a reverse telephone book.
Test your own number. If it comes up with the Map option and you would like to be removed, simply click on the Phonebook results for XXX-XXX-XXXX. Then click on the Request to have your name removed from this list.
